The FDS 3000 skinning machine is a recently developed skinning machine suitable for skinning soft trimmed whitefish fillets or portions. The fillets are fed on top of the drum and “freezes” flat on the drum by gravity and and light pressure. It is possible to skin very shallow without putting pressure or strain on the fillet or skin.

The machine is normally used with manual feeding. The capacity is 40 – 120 fillets per minute, depending on fillet size.
